The magazine “Ratings” has published the latest ranking of colleges by field of study. In the overall ranking among all colleges, Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija shares 3rd place with several other institutions. In total, there are 7 state and 6 private colleges in Lithuania.
KVK is the leader among all Lithuanian colleges in 2 fields of study: Food Technologies and Informatics.
KVK takes 2-3rd place in Dental Hygiene and Oral Care study programmes.
Also, KVK takes 3rd place in 13 study fields, as Physiotherapy, General Practice Nursing, Finance, Management of Organizations, and others.
Fields of study are ranked by assessing employers about the specialists prepared by colleges, alumni employment and average salaries, the extent to which it is necessary to have the opportunity to choose a specific field of study, the average score received, as well as student dropout.
The rankings can be used to at least partially assess the position of a higher education institution among other institutions, identify strengths and weaknesses. The ranking shows which college graduates perfectly meet the expectations of employers.
