How can I apply for studies?All applications for studies are accepted online HERE.
When will I receive an answer?
Feedbacks are given in a week basis, in most cases. Application evaluation it self might take up to a month.
Why did I not receive answer on my application?All fully and properly submitted applications receive feedback. If your application is missing some documents, you might not receive an answer therefore please check if you provided all required documents.
Who should I contact regarding admission?Answers or consultations are given only via email admissions@kvk.lt. Inquiries sent to other recipients, will not receive an answer. Please check to whom you sent an inquiry.
When can I apply for studies?Applications are accepted from 1 January to 1 June.
Do you offer studies in English?Yes. Study programmes which are offered in English are listed on our website HERE.
Do you offer scholarship?We do not offer scholarships for international applicants.
Do you offer foundation courses?We do not offer foundation or preparatory courses.
Can I study master programme here?We offer only bachelor level studies.
Do I need to apply for academic recognition of my school diploma at SKVC?KVK has a right to evaluate and recognize applicants’ foreign qualifications which gives the right to higher studies therefore assessment of foreign qualifications will be carried by KVK as part of study application evaluation.
I am 35 years old. Can I apply for studies?We do not have age limitation. But you will be asked to submit additional documents/statements regarding study gaps (3 years gap is accepted without any justification).
Can I pay tuition fee by instalments?The first year applicants need to make full payment of the first academic year fee. Later payments can be divided.
Do you offer accommodation for students?We offer very limited accommodation placements. For inquiries please contact – j.pekautiene@kvk.lt.
I have bachelor’s degree diploma only. Can I apply for studies?Admission to studies at our institution is based on higher secondary education diploma and not bachelor diploma.
I’m studying in another university but want to study in yours now. What should I do?If you are interested in credit transfer (admission into higher course), copy of higher education (bachelor level) diploma or certificate of study period if studies are not finished and official transcript of records together with summaries of each passed subject should be sent via email (admissions@kvk.lt) for evaluation.
How can I get student visa?All applicants coming for studies need to apply for temporary residence permit (TRP). All information for it can be checked on Migration department website – https://www.migracija.lt/esu-studentas1
Do you provide help getting temporary residence permit?We issue mediation letters for all study applicants if they need to apply for visa/TRP. But it is applicant responsibility to verify all the consular requirements before traveling to Lithuania or making appointments with Embassy/visa center.
Do you legalise documents?We do not legalise documents. For legalisation, please follow information here – https://keliauk.urm.lt/en/consular-services/legalisation
Can I bring my family members?Family members can only be brought by master and doctoral students
Do you offer work for students?Our institution does not offer student jobs at the campus. Study and Career center may consult on employment questions.
Do I need to apply with an agent?It is not necessary. But agencies can help you with additional steps or TRP applications.
