Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution (KVK) is a modern university located on the coast of the Baltic Sea in the city of Klaipeda, Lithuania. KVK offers a wide range of study programs in English for international students through the Erasmus+ program.
The university has three faculties: Business Faculty, Technologies Faculty, and Health Sciences Faculty, covering 23 bachelor degree study programmes:

The study programmes have a strong practical focus, allowing students to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also hands-on experience in well-equipped laboratories, simulation centers, and under the guidance of experienced instructors.
For Erasmus+ participants, both study and internship opportunities are available. Students can choose to do an internship at any company in the city of Klaipeda related to their field of study, which is a unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience.
Internships are available under the following study programmes:
- Business Faculty (Administration of Institutions and Companies; Tourism Business; Digital Marketing; Logistics Management; Finance; Accounting)
- Technologies Faculty (Automobile Transport Engineering; Construction Engineering; Real Estate Measurement Engineering; Food Technology; Dietetics)
- Health Science Faculty (Dental Assisting; Dental Hygiene; Physiotherapy; Beauty Therapy; General Practice Nursing; Social Work).
KVK takes care of its international students and strives to ensure their comfortable stay. The KVK website provides all the necessary information, including a list of courses in English, internship offers, an online application form, and an Infopack for incoming students. It is also worth noting the in-depth information support provided by the International Relations Department before and during the mobility.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, KVK welcomed a record number of 28 students from Turkiye, followed by 13 students from Spain. Ukraine and Greece each sent 7 students. KVK also hosted students from countries like Czech Republic, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia, Portugal, Georgia, and Egypt.
In terms of partner institutions, KVK received the highest number of students from the University of La Laguna (10 students) and the University Of West Attica (5 students).

- Business Faculty – 32 students (2 for internships, 30 for studies)
- Technologies Faculty – 26 students (all for studies)
- Health Science Faculty – 21 students (5 for internships, 16 for studies)
The most popular study programs for Erasmus students were:
- Business Faculty – Administration of Institutions and Companies (12 students)
- Technologies Faculty – Electrical and Automation Engineering (7 students)
- Health Science Faculty – Physiotherapy (11 students)
Moreover, we asked students about their overall impressions of their Erasmus+ experience in Klaipeda. Many noted that being here allowed them to develop social skills, overcome the fear of communicating in English thanks to the international environment, and cultivate discipline by stepping out of their comfort zone.
