On 25 April, the International Oral Care Week Competition was held at the Oral Care Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of KVK. 🦷🎓🏆🎯
Students of Dental Hygiene from KVK, Odontology and Dental Technology from Karabuk University (Turkiye) and Oral care from Da Escola Superior de Saúde (Portugal) competed among themselves. 🎲🎓 A total of 1️⃣3️⃣ students competed, and they were evaluated by 6️⃣commission members from KVK and Karabuk University. Students had to pass the test and 5️⃣ practical tasks, demonstrating both their theoretical and practical knowledge.

🥇1st place – Berkay Şimşek, 5th year student of Dentistry programme, Karabuk University.
🥈2nd place – Vygailė Valatkaitė, student of 3rd year of the Dental hygiene study programme, KVK.
🥉3rd place – Maroof Alam Maroof Alam, 5th year student of the Dentistry programme, Karabuk University.
